On Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 at 1:21 PM, the Lakeside Fire District received a request to respond Water Tender 7251 (River Park Station) to a well establish hay fire in the 2200 block of Dye Rd in the community of Ramona. Engine 2 and the water tender responded to the request where it was utilized to provide large volumes of water at the stubborn fire.

Given the amount of overhaul required on these types of fires the water tender assisted for four hours making multiple trips to deliver water to the scene. The water tender carries 2000 gallons of water.
