Community Turns Out for Sidewalk CPR

Lakeside-

Sidewalk CPR Day was established to instruct the community on "hands only" CPR. Recent research has shown that correct chest compressions applied in a timely manner can have a significant impact on the survivability of patients.

In the past this event has attracted 60-70 people who received the training from Lakeside Fire District personnel. But this year an amazing 151 people received the training from firefighters at two locations in the community.

If you missed today's training we encourage you to visit the American Heart Association's website dedicated to "Hands Only CPR"..
