River Park Fire Station Building Plans Out For Bid During November 2010

Lakeside: The District has released the documents (on a CD) for contractors to bid on the building phase of our New River Park Fire Station and Administrative Complex.  The plans and bid documents are available now and can be purchased at the District offices for $25 ($30 if they are to be mailed). Potential bidders are encouraged to purchase plans for bidding as this is the only way to be sure that they are on the list to receive critical addenda and other information released during the bidding period. The documents are also available for download from the District’s website but downloading the docs from the website does not register you as a bidder, you must do that separately either by purchasing the CD or contacting the District Office and placing your name on the list.

The building phase is the last of three phases of this over 5 year process and will culminate late 2011 or early 2012 with a $15 million fire station and administrative complex.

This building is a project of the Lakeside Fire Protection District using funds from the Upper San Diego River Improvement Project Redevelopment Agency (an RDA of the County of San Diego).
