Lakeside Firefighters Finish Up a Busy 2010

Lakeside, CA -

Lakeside Firefighters finished 2010 with 11,406 unit responses. That was over 31 unit responses average per 24-hour shift. Individual company responses were as follows:

Riverview fire station (fs1)

Engine 1  - 2336 runs
Medic 1  - 2953 runs

Eucalyptus Hills fire station (fs2)

Engine 2  - 1038 runs
Brush 2   -  48 runs

Lake Jennings fire station (fs3)

Engine 3  - 1204 runs
Rescue 3 - 502 runs
Medic 3  - 2228 runs
Battalion 1 - 448 runs

Blossom Valley fire station (fs26)

Engine 26s  - 620 runs
Brush 26   -   29 runs



Heartland Fire Communications ended 2010 on incident number 62,553. A busy year by any measurement!

  2. I remember when Captain Culkin and i opened up station 2 in January of 1967. We said that it was too small and couldn't accommodate two engine companies. It was such a slow station that we called it the, "resort". Now I see that stations one and two are pretty busy as compared to #3 and 26's?
    I like the LFD site, keeps me up to date on what's going on. All you guys be safe!
