News from the Lakeside FD Administration Center

Lakeside Fire Administration: At a special meeting of the Lakeside Fire Protection District Governing Board last evening, the Board passed a number of resolutions relating to the building of our new River Park Fire Station Complex planned for construction on the corner of Channel Road and Lakeside Avenue in Lakeside, CA. The Board agreed to purchase the final parcels of County land and release information for interested parties that wish to bid on the first two phases of our project. Information about this project is available on the website at www.lakesidefire.org or you can contact the District Office at 619.390.2350. The District plans public meetings in the near future to discuss our project with the residents in the area. While the new station is being built the old fire station in Eucalyptus Hills will continue to provide service, but when the new building is complete the fire engine and crew will move to the new facility in late 2011. The Paramedic Unit currently housed at the Riverview Station will also call the River Park Fire Station home after it opens.
