Glenview: On Sunday, December 5, 2010, at 10:41 a.m., the Lakeside Fire District received calls reference an injury traffic accident at
Los Coches Road and the Interstate 8 on-ramp to the westbound lanes. A rescue company and ALS ambulance were dispatched to the incident from the Lake Jennings Fire Station (fs3).

On arrival, crews evaluated two drivers with complaints of potential spinal injuries. Since both drivers were properly restrained, it's likely that more severe injuries were prevented.
One patient was transported to the hospital via ambulance for further evaluation. CHP is currently investigating the accident. A total of 5 Lakeside Fire personnel responded to the incident.
During the holiday season we see an increase in vehicle related accidents.
