Brownies Visit Lakeside Station 1

Riverview - Fire Fighters at Lakeside's Riverview fire station (fs1) hosted 14 Daisies and Brownies on November 30, 2010.  The girls were shown our living quarters, fire engine, and paramedic ambulance.  The girls and leaders were taught all about fire safety, especially Exit Drills in the Home (E.D.I.T.H.), Stop,Drop, and Roll, and smoke detector use and maintenance.

The girls donated teddy bears they had collected for us to carry on the ambulance and comfort children who are hurt or injured. The C-division crew would like to thank the girls and parents for stopping by for a visit.
