An S.U.V. struck a large oak tree on El Monte Road on Sunday, January 30, 2011, requiring a full rescue response from Lakeside firefighters. Fire crews from the Lake Jennings (fs3) and Riverview (fs1) fire stations responded to the incident. A total of four patients were transported by Lakeside firefighter-paramedics to area hospitals. Several residents in the area were on scene assisting the injured parties prior to emergency responder arrival.
Units attending this call included E1, R3, M3, M1, and B1. CHP is investigating the accident.
